More Filters for Content You Browse
New settings have been introduced to give you better control of your browsing experience related to mature themes. DeviantArt’s content filter settings has been expanded to three options, to provide deviants with different levels that can align with their needs. The DeviantArt community is vast, and tastes and opinions vary greatly from one deviant to another. Some deviants prefer to fine-tune their content with filters, while others prefer experiencing everything, even content that's labeled mature! And some deviants walk between worlds, fine with most but not all types of content. Some deviants may prefer to use different settings based on where they are when browsing DeviantArt (such as at work or during school), and one person may consider something to be mature that another person may not. The new settings are designed to let everyone have greater control of what they see, regardless of where they stand. The new setting options are as follows: Safe: With this setting on

Whether you're a creator or someone who loves supporting exclusive content, Subscription tiers can deepen the connection with your community through Discord integration. A deviant offering Subscriptions can choose to connect their Discord server to one or more tiers. Subscribers will then get access to their server, and an associated role in the server. Deviants, join your favorite artist's community When you subscribe to a tier that includes Discord integration, you'll be a part of a closed art community with people who share similar interests. In addition to exclusive content, you'll also be able to interact with and get feedback from the artist and other subscribers. Artists, connect with your fans Use Discord integration to communicate with your subscribers in real time. This tool will allow you to link your subscriptions to your Discord server, so your subscribers on DeviantArt can automatically receive a role in your Discord server. GIF Uploads are About to be Simpler
Starting June 6, the process of submitting GIFs will be simplified, making it easier than ever to upload GIF files! Thumbnails for GIFs will soon be generated automatically, so there will be no need to create and submit an additional image when posting a GIF. Staying up-to-date for you DeviantArt has been around for over 20 years, and part of being a legacy website is working to make sure we're using the latest technology. The current method of uploading GIFs is outdated and forces deviants to manually upload previews for their GIF files. We always want to make things more convenient for the community, and automatic thumbnails for GIFs will help with that. This applies to new and old images Previews for existing images, no matter when they were uploaded, will be replaced by automatically generated thumbnails. The first frame will automatically be captured and labeled as a GIF; deviants won't have to do anything to make the change go into effect. Image display depends on several
