When Gwen was a child, she lost her mother, Wirlina, because her father, Zopez, left her (Wirlina) to die in a dangerous chaos.

Gwen goes to a fancy party with Ratchet, Clank, and Mandi. But, 4 hours later, Gwen realizes she needs to check on her mother right now. So she ran out of the party to see her grave. Ratchet didn't know why she left.

The guy who spies on Gwen is Yuripus. He was the one who caused (Gwen's mother) Wirlina's death.
